About This Trip
The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you to the base camp of the majestic Annapurna mountain range at 4,130m. The trek offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Jhinudanda, Trek to Chomrong (2,170m)/Sinuwa (2,340m)
Scenic drive from Pokhara to Matque/Jhinudanda, followed by a trek to Chomrong/Sinuwa (~4-5 hours, moderate difficulty with steep descents).
Day 2: Trek from Chomrong to Himalaya (2,900m)
Trek through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo with steep ascents and descents (~6-7 hours).
Day 3: Trek from Himalaya to ABC (4,130m)
Trek through Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp. Stunning 360° views of the Annapurna massif (~5-6 hours).
Day 4: Trek from ABC to Bamboo (2,340m)
Mostly downhill return through the same scenic route (~6-7 hours).
Day 5: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinudanda/Hot Spring and Drive to Pokhara
Trek to natural hot springs (~5-6 hours), then drive back to Pokhara (~2-3 hours).
